    28-year-old Sofiane Pamart is in many ways the ‘enfant terrible’ of French classical music. French pianist is redefining what it means to be a classical music star with his modern interpretation of piano music – becoming one the genre’s most-streamed artists in the process and blowing away people’s perception that classical music is stuffy and elitist. Noticed for his ardour and his strong and rebellious temperament, he is devoted to the composition of his work rather than the interpretation of classical repertoire.

    Awarded the Gold Medal from the National Conservatory of Music in Lille, Sofiane is the go-to pianist for the French rap scene, having collaborated with artists such as Koba LaD, Maes, Vald, Laylow, Dinos, Madd, Isha and Youv Dee. Sofiane released his debut album, 'Planet', in 2019, which received widespread critical acclaim from national TV, press and radio in his homeland before 2020's 'Planet Gold' broke him out into a wider international audience. After igniting the Montreux Jazz Festival stage with an outstanding headline performance this summer, and a huge NFT drop already sold-out to his loyal fanbase, Sofiane continues to tear up the rulebook with the release of his second album ‘LETTER’.

    His music is intense and cinematographic, finding the balance between technical skills and raw emotions – connecting classical music to a new generation and sweeping away the elitist barriers in the process.
