Box Set „Are You There” Michał Łapaj CD+TSHIRT

“Are You There” is the long-awaited debut album by Michał Łapaj – musician, keyboardist of the progrock band Riverside. Michał has also appeared as a guest on the albums of such artists as Behemoth, Me And That Man, Antigama and Lunatic Soul.    The album consists of both instrumental pieces and songs. It contains a lot of spacey atmosphere, and fans of post-rock, ambient and electronic music will surely be able to find something for themselves. It is diverse and at the same time coherent, filled with emotions, melancholy and darkness. It tries to find answers to the question of what happens to us when we do not understand each other and we wander between what was said and what was left unspoken.   The album features vocals by Mick Moss – the leader and singer of the British band Antimatter – and Bela Komoszyńska, the female force who fronts the Polish band Sorry Boys.   Łapaj is dedicated to achieving the best possible sound, which is why he plays mainly analog, so-called “live” keyboards – Hammond organ, piano, Rhodes piano or old analog synthesizers. All of them can be heard on the album in excellent quality. Virtually all instruments were recorded by Michał. The rhythm section features Artur Szolc (Annalist, Inside Again) playing the drums.
